www hotels com : I booked a hotel room in Chicago a few months ago through Travelocity, butwhen it was charged to my credit card the payee was hotels.com.Travelocity did let me know there would be a penalty for cancellation. Don'tremember how much though.The following is a cut and paste from my most recent reservation withHotels.com. I have deleted the information that nobody but myself needs toknow, but I would say the Hotels.com is pretty up front about theircancellation fee.Congratulations! Your reservation has been successfully booked.Your reservation is part of the hotels.com block of rooms at the hotel.Information on individual reservations is not available at the hotel.Please refer to the hotels.com Booking/Confirmation Number(s) above if youcontacthotels.com for any reason.
