Registration is $40, jumps are $20. The registration coverscosts of running manifest, having a rescue boat on site, and bustransportation to and from the airport.RESERVATIONS? You need to make them. This is a very high end privateresort, and not really a place you can just show up at and expect to grab aroom. Their website is and you need to tell themthat you are with the skydiving group to get our discount. We will be staying in the condos, with prices asfollows:1BR villas (Fri. and Sat. only)-$1292BR villas (Thu./Fri./Sat.)-$1493BR villas (Thu./Fri./Sat.)-$179 I have had them set aside 5 of each unit designated for our group. Theywill hold these rooms until March 15th, and then they go back to the pool ofrooms, and you may not be able to get accommodations after that date. Traffic on 17 can be pretty bad, so this can beimportant. The main areas are at Myrtle close to the pavillion andBroadway at the Beach, in North Myrtle near Barefoot Landing andRestaurant Row, and North Myrtle near the "OD" Pavillion. Or you maychoose to stay away from these areas to avoid themasses.RodneyWhere would be a great place to stay in the Myrtle Beach area? We'd like to rent one for a week.I highly recommend The San-A-Bel - rented through Condo World. We got a oneweek rental rate of $399+ tax (in March). Another agency wanted almost $700for the same teo-bedroom unit on a different floor because they added a lot ofadditional fees for linens, cleaning etc. that Condo World gave as part of thequoted price. The builing is a little older but all the facilities are modern.It is in North Myrtle beach so a little quieter than being downtown.

Looking for a 2-bedroom suite in a nicefacility that offers the complete golf package (breakfast,golf, and carts). We certainly want good value but amwilling to pay a little extra for a nicer place to stay.We're flying into Myrtle Beach but flying out of Wilmingtonso prefer something a little further north.Am also looking for some course recommendations. I've beento Myrtle Beach several times but not in a few years sodon't know anything about the newer courses. The North Courseat Myrtle Beach National has been redesigned. It's a hoot. All threeLegends Courses are memorable. Caldonia Golf and Fish Club is a newplayer that you will enjoy. True Blue gets lots of ink. Any of theseare new and fun. I also enjoy going back to some of the old favoritesand BayTree has three courses. You can't go wrong with the Gold or theGreen course.
myrtle beach hotels : There are plenty of nice courses in the North Myrtle Beach area. I justrecently played Heather Glen and Glen Dornoch, which were both excellentcourses, and pretty challenging for me.Others in the area include Oyster Bay, Marsh Harbour, SeaTrail, etc.Places like SeaTrail, Brunswick, and others have the full package(accomodations, golf, etc.), whereas Heather Glen and Glen Dornoch areplay packages only (don't think they have accomodations yet).I think that Southport has some nice courses. Bald Head Island looks likea nice course (you can only take a Ferry to the island, and no cars on theisland -- only golf carts!), but I've never been there. These are all inthe North Carolina area, just north of Myrtle Beach, in the BrunswickIslands area.You try The Caravelle. It is at 70th street and North Ocean Blvd. Theyhave a regular hotel complex along with 2 bedroom condos a half a blockaway. They have complete golf package with breakfast and rights on allcourses including the Dunes. My personal favorite courses in MyrtleBeach area are Heather Glen, Lions Paw, Wild Wing all courses, Legendsall courses, Blackmoor. I am sure ther is a web page for Myrtle Beachaccomadations with 800 numbers. I have flown into Wilmington many times.It is less than an hour to Myrtle Beach. What we have done when we flewout of Wilmington is played Lions Paw that day and then drove and flewout that same day. Lions Paw is in North Carolina South Carolina border.Bernie Zephro
