Very good feedback from visitors. 1992 remodeled, theOld Town atmosphere, quiet street.

I will be travelling to Prague in July for a scientific meeting and am now looking into hotels. I don't have a whole lot of money to spend. The conference is at the Convention Center (Palac kultury).Could anyone tell me anything about the following hotels (or recommend a different one): The Park, The Globus, the Pyramida. These are all rated 3 - 4 stars. I also have listings for Kosik and Student's House which are extremely inexpensive. Which are closest to the convention center. Are the cheap hotels safe? Or are they miles away from the site?Thank you for your help. Any additional information you can tell me will be greatly appreciated. I just found out about this and am very excited.

The Kosik hotel is very far from the center. In Julyyou can get the cheap accomodation in student's dormitories. The good one isfor example Kajetanka or Vetrnik. Both have good connection to center. Theaccomodation even in cheap hotels or student's dormitories is without any danger. Near Conference center there is hotel Forum and Panorama. Both are very expensive. Good solution would be hotel Beranek, which is near both: the centerand conference centre too. And it is not very expensive. Another recommendationis hotel Rhea, which is cheap, good quality and with a good connection to thecenter.Good luck. Radovan CernyI've got a favour to ask.
