I also wrote a letter tomy Travel Agent asking that he cancel all rezs for all employees in mycompany and rebook with Marriott, Hyatt, Wyndhams or other hotels andto never book Hiltons for my company again.3 days later the VP called me personally to apologize for theincident. He asked me directly what he had to do to regain my biz. Wetalked for 45 minutes about ways to improve Hilton. Really nice guy.He VOLUNTEERED to comp the entire $1100 bill for my stay in LB. Hesent me 12 room upgrades for 1999 and Send me a certificate for a freeweekend at the Hilton in Myrtle Beach for my wife and myself. We livein Columbia, SC. None of this asked for and all was volunteered. Healso stated that he was reviewing the current policy for phones andwould be making recommendations to the executive committee and wouldshare my thoughts.

De mansprong uit het raam en belandde zo'n zeven meter lager op een dak. Daar ishij opgevangen door personeel van het hotel.Ambulancemedewerkers en personeel van de traumahelikopter hebben de mangestabiliseerd waarna hij door de brandweer veilig op de grond werdgebracht. Per ambulance is de man overgebracht naar een ziekenhuis.
